Accessing or using our services constitutes full acceptance of these terms.
Skoon™ Laundromats provides professional laundry, dry cleaning, bulk washing, and related textile care services. By using any Skoon™ service, the customer accepts all terms set out below. These terms are designed to meet international laundry, dry cleaning, hospitality, and textile-care liability standards.
By submitting items for service, the customer confirms that all garments, textiles, and household items are suitable for standard laundering. Standard laundering may include:
Skoon™ Laundromats accepts no responsibility for damage that occurs because an item was not suitable for laundering, regardless of whether this was known or disclosed.
We reserve the right to decline service for any item deemed unsafe or unhygienic, including items heavily soiled with human or animal waste.
Skoon™ Laundromats is not responsible for damage caused by items left in pockets. This includes, but is not limited to, pens, coins, toys, batteries, lipstick, markers, sharp objects, and any foreign item.
The following outcomes are considered normal results of laundering and are excluded from liability:
Customers are responsible for separating colours and fabrics. Colour catchers are available on request, but may not be as effective in preventing dye transfers as colour splitting.
Skoon™ Laundromats cannot guarantee complete prevention of loss or misplacement.
Customers must report missing items within 24 hours of receiving their order. Claims after this period will not be accepted.
Validated loss is compensated strictly according to Section 11.
All dry cleaning and bulk washing items are inventoried and recorded before being transferred to our accredited partner, Personal Superior Laundry & Dry Cleaning. While every reasonable precaution is taken during handling, transport, and processing, Skoon™ Laundromats and Personal Superior Laundry & Dry Cleaning does not guarantee the condition, performance, or outcome of any item that requires outsourced cleaning or the use of external industrial equipment.
By submitting any item for dry cleaning or bulk washing, the customer acknowledges the following conditions:
Dry cleaning and bulk laundry processes involve solvents, heat, moisture, agitation, and chemical interaction. These processes may react unpredictably with certain fabrics, linings, interlinings, adhesives, beads, sequins, metallic trims, dyes, and any textiles weakened by age, sun exposure, or environmental factors.
Skoon™ Laundromats and their trusted dry cleaning partner Personal Superior Laundry & Dry Cleaning accepts no responsibility for deterioration, shrinkage, colour loss, fibre breakdown, lining failure, sun rot, adhesive failure, or any damage resulting from pre-existing weakness or instability.
The following categories are classified as high risk and are cleaned strictly at the customer’s own risk due to known instability, unpredictable reactions, and structural vulnerability:
• Leather items
• Suede items
• Wedding dresses
• Evening gowns
• Curtains and drapery
• Vintage clothing or textiles
• Items with beading, sequins, glitter, lace, mesh, applique, fur, feathers, bonded fabrics, or metallic components
• Items with cracked or aged linings
• Items with missing, faded, or incomplete care labels

Items with missing, faded, altered, or incorrect care labels are cleaned strictly at the customer’s own risk.
In the event of loss or damage attributable to outsourced dry cleaning or bulk washing, liability is limited to a maximum of five times the cleaning fee of the affected item.
Replacement value, sentimental value, depreciation claims, or consequential damages will not be paid under any circumstances.
Dry cleaning and bulk washing services are performed by Personal Superior Laundry & Dry Cleaning, an independent specialist provider with industrial equipment up to 100 kg capacity.
Skoon™ Laundromats facilitates the process but along with Personal Superior Laundry & Dry Cleaning assumes no liability beyond the limited compensation described above regardless of where in the process any issue occurs.
Submission of any item for dry cleaning or bulk washing constitutes full acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms and all associated risks.
All services must be linked to a scheduled appointment. Additional pickups must be arranged at least one hour before collection.
Drivers will wait up to 10 minutes. If the customer is unreachable or unavailable, the stop will be skipped and rescheduled.
Unattended deliveries are left at the customer’s risk. Skoon™’s electronic delivery records are considered accurate and final.
Items transported for pickup or delivery are carried at the customer’s risk. Skoon™ Laundromats is not liable for loss, theft, damage, or delay caused by traffic, weather, or other unforeseen events.
Mix-ups, while rare, may occur in high-volume textile and garment processing.
Customers must report any suspected mix-up within 24 hours of receiving their order.
Upon receiving a valid report, Skoon™ Laundromats will investigate using available records, tracking data, and internal logs. Any corrective action taken will fall strictly within our Liability & Compensation Policy, and no guarantee of recovery, replacement, or full resolution is made or implied.
Skoon™ Laundromats assumes no liability for items reported after the 24-hour window or for discrepancies that cannot be verified through our tracking systems.
Hypoallergenic detergents are available on request, but Skoon™ Laundromats cannot guarantee the removal of all allergens or residues.
Machine failures or interruptions may occur.
Skoon™ Laundromats is not liable for losses, delays, or damage related to equipment malfunction.
Operational delays may occur due to maintenance, repairs, or unforeseen disruptions.
We will notify customers where possible.
Liability is limited to five times the cleaning fee of the affected garment, capped at R500 per item.

Personal data is used only for service provision and communication.
Use of any Skoon™ Laundromats service constitutes full acceptance of all terms in this policy.
This document forms the complete and exclusive Terms, Conditions, and Liability Policy of Skoon™ Laundromats. No verbal statements, assumptions, or staff communications override or amend these terms. Only written amendments published by Skoon™ Laundromats are valid.
Skoon™ Laundromats reserves the right to update or modify this policy without prior notice.
Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
