No. Skoon is a full-service laundromat. Drop off your laundry at either store, or book collection and delivery. We wash, dry and fold it for you; customers do not operate the machines.

Walk-in Everyday Laundry costs R210 for up to 5 kg, then R42 per additional kg above 5 kg. Collection and delivery costs R300 for up to 5 kg, then R60 per additional kg above 5 kg. We confirm the cost of separate wash loads and additional services before processing.

Yes. Our Laundry by Item service prices garments individually, with a R175 walk-in minimum spend per wash load. For a larger basket, Everyday Laundry usually offers better value.

We can air-dry laundry that we wash. Please request this when placing your order so we can confirm the return time. We do not accept already-wet clothes for drying only. Air drying is not available with Express or Lightspeed.

Yes. Standard ironing or steaming costs R30 per item; long dresses and robes cost R45. Signature Press costs R45 for shirts only and includes starch and a hanger. Other hangers cost R8 each. Ironing is separate from wash, dry and fold and is not available with Express or Lightspeed.

We do not mix one personal customer’s laundry with another customer’s laundry. We can wash your colours in separate loads. A second colour basket of up to 3 kg costs R175 when added to an Everyday Laundry order. We confirm the price before washing.

Yes. We collect from hotels, guest houses, Airbnbs, homes and offices within our service area. We also arrange collections from yachts and port locations, including cruise ships, once the berth, access and handover details are confirmed. Book through our website, app or WhatsApp before leaving laundry with reception or a concierge. You usually do not need to meet our driver if your accommodation agrees to the handover.

We confirm the collection arrangements when you book. After collection, we check and weigh your laundry at our store, then discuss any price adjustment or additional work with you. We let you know when the order is ready and confirm when it has been delivered.

Walk-in customers pay at drop-off by card or cash. For collection and delivery orders, we send a secure payment link when your laundry is ready. Once payment is received, we arrange delivery.

Yes. Routine stain spotting is included with laundering. Specialist treatment for blood, food, grass, mud, makeup, ink or dye costs R60; sunscreen treatment costs R100. We assess other stains before quoting. Complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed

Yes. Syndikat™, Skoon’s sneaker-care division, offers Refresh for R200 and Revive for R290. A 24-hour priority option costs an additional 50%, subject to confirmation. Specialist restoration and repairs are assessed and quoted separately.

Yes. Dry cleaning is handled by a specialist partner. Standard turnaround is 3–4 days, or up to 5 days during busy periods. Express and Lightspeed are not available for dry-cleaned items.

Yes. We work with tour operators and groups travelling together. We can arrange collection and return at a hotel or another agreed location. Tell us how many travellers there are, the approximate laundry volume and the required return date. We confirm pricing and keep each traveller’s personal laundry separate.
